This beautiful powder horn measures 15-3/4" long around the outer curve with an attractive double twist. The body is carved octagon and is stained antique yellow with a heavy patina. The neck is carved octagon to match the body with raised rings and engrailed base. The turned walnut plug is 3" in diameter and retained by hand forged iron nails. The plug has a turned knob for attaching the green woven shoulder strap.
