Part Number: AAM-652
This antique double barrel percussion shotgun is stocked in dense European walnut with the classic buttstock architecture still found on modern shotguns. The stock and all the metal work have been refinished. The barrels have Liege, Belgium proof marks on the bottom of the breech. Both locks function correctly with secure half cock notches.
The barrels have a visible turned texture, likely as some form of faux Damascus finish originally. The right hand barrel has a .670" bore diameter at the muzzle. The left hand barrel has a .681" bore diameter at the muzzle. The left hand barrel has a 2-1/2" long flat dent that is visible inside the bore. Both bores have a frosted appearance with scattered deeper pitting.
