Part Number: AAN-800
Stocked in straight grain maple black walnut, this English Fowling Gun is correctly trimmed in brass, with a early flat faced Dixie Gun Works Ketland flintlock. Although much shorter than most antique fowlers this fowler has classic fullstock fowling gun architecture, that was popular on American flint fowling guns, of the 1760 - 1790 era.
The octagon-to-round 34" barrel is 28 gauge, with the bore diameter measuring .558". Hunt waterfowl using the new bismuth shot. We recommend using our 28 gauge "A", "B", and "C" wad and cards. The barrel is fitted with a brass blade turtle front sight soldered behind the muzzle. The bore is bright and has been well maintained.
