Shaped in the style of halfstock rifles by Samuel Hawken this halfstock target rifle is stocked in figured maple and trimmed in browned iron furniture with a poured pewter forend cap. The large Siler flintlock is mated to a .45 caliber straight octagon barrel. No under barrel rib is fitted to reduce muzzle weight when fired off hand. The barrel is fitted with a tall blade front sight and a elevation and windage adjustable rear sight.
