Part Number: AAP-657
This nice double percussion shotgun is stocked in walnut with a checkered straight grip. The gun was manufactured by Davide Pedersoli of Italy for Richland Arms Co. Barrels are 28-1/2" long with a gloss brown finish. Locks are factory engraved with a floral pattern and a bright finish. The shotgun is used with handling marks on the stock, as well as some wear on the brown barrel finish.

The polished and browned barrels are 28-1/2" length. The front sight is a standard brass bead. The bores of the gun are mirror bright, indicating it has been was very well maintained. The barrel is marked 12 gauge and these early Pedersoli shotguns nominally have a .719" bore diameter. The right hand barrel has a integral improved cylinder bore choke measuring .709" at the muzzle. The left hand barrel is choked down to .699" diameter, or modified choke. This shotgun can be used with wool wads, or traditional wads and cards. For use with a choked bore our wad manufacturer recommends a 13 gauge over powder card passed through on it's side, a 14 gauge fiber wad, and a standard 13 gauge overshot card which should be flexible enough to pass through the choke. Use only lead of bismuth shot. The brown barrel finish has a mottled appearance with some speckling around the nipples on breech.
