This powder horn would make a fine day horn for your hunting pouch. The horn is finished with a warm brown patina on the body and a dark tip. The tip has a round end, raised strap ring, and smooth transition from an engrailed border with a heart design to the horn body. The horn measures 12" around the outside curve from the tip to the end of the flat base. Small iron nails secure the base to the horn. A wooden stopper is fitted. Add a leather or woven strap and this horn is ready to go!
