Part Number: AAP-169
This pistol is assembled in the style of Halbach & Sons who worked in Baltimore in the late 18th and early 19th century. The pistol is stocked in curly maple and trimmed in brass furniture with a eagle head grip cap. The straight octagon barrel and small Queen Anne lock are finished to a dark brown.
New, unfired, this pistol was neatly hand made by noted gun maker Leonard Day, famous for his swivel breech flint rifles.
The small Queen Anne flint lock features a rounded plate, pan, and the elegant cocking piece, all typical of London's best, circa 1730 to 1770.
When using our best 3/4" knapped English gun flints, #FLINT-ENG-6, this lock will throw a shower of sparks into the pan. A direct drilled vent is well centered on the pan.
