Part Number: AAP-209
This longrifle has late 18th century styling with a large Siler flintlock, Green Mountain straight octagon barrel, maple stock, and brass furniture. The maple stock is stained to a tawny brown with a golden undertone. The brass furniture has a burnished appearance. The large Siler flintlock and Green Mountain barrel are finished to a dark brown. The rifle appears to be lightly used with a few small handling marks. The rifle is attributed to Steve Baehr.
The .50 caliber, 7/8" octagon by 42" barrel by Green Mountain Barrel Company has a bright clean bore. The bore is cut rifled with eight lands and grooves with a caliber appropriate 1 in 72" twist. Green Mountain Barrels are machined from high quality American made bar stock, A.I.S.I. 1137 modified, stress relieved, annealed, certified rifle barrel quality steel. All barrels are drilled from solid stock, reamed to a high degree of smoothness, then optically checked for straightness. Very close tolerances are maintained.
